Musical involvement also improves student's self-discipline, accomplishment, and creative thinking skills practicing for performance-shows helps them develop a sense of responsibility for setting major goals and working hard to achieve them

Alnoor choralWhen it comes to children with special needs in particular, music retains the central key in their lives as it provides them with a form of communication that transcends their ordinary spoken languages and makes an ideal medium to stimulate or regulate their social-emotional development. And it's quite obvious that those children are more likely to benefit from music education practices. For visually impaired children music can be of inestimable value for them, it helps them cope with their health or educational problems and to elevate mood and self esteem, It develops auditory and musical abilities like sound discrimination and recognition and the localization of object by their sounds.

Music sessions contributes also to comprehend some visual aspects of reality like perspective, texture and chromatic characteristics of objects by using musical patterns and analogies, music can help child to explore his environment and encourage social awareness and interaction first with adult caregivers and later with peers and other children, engaging in singing and playing simple rhythm instruments and movement games create challenging experiences that support fine and gross motor skill development, The mobility and movements become more fluid and coordinated through intervention with music.

Shadi asserts "Whatever music activities a school class may offer, it must not be limited to just listening to music or playing instruments by ear, but also by combining all the available tools , resources and methods for better learning that may compensate the lack of vision music literacy."
